Health accounts from Bank of America offer easy account administration and cost-effective benefits for your clients.

  • A Health Savings Account is a type of personal savings account that helps employees with qualified high-deductible health plans (HDHPs) save money on many out-of-pocket medical expenses like doctor visits, dental and vision care, and prescriptions. Employers can offer HSAs to their employees, and both employees and employers can make contributions to them.
  • A Flexible Spending Account lets employees set aside pretax money to help pay for qualified medical expenses that occur during a particular year. FSAs are compatible with all types of health insurance plans and are offered through and owned by the employer.
  • A Health Reimbursement Arrangement is an employer-funded account that helps employees pay for qualified medical expenses not covered by their health plans. HRAs are compatible with all types of health insurance plans and are owned by the employer. Money left in an HRA at the end of the year can roll over to the next year.
